Bormio is in Alta Valtellina, in the district of Sondrio, in Lombardia; it is a few kilometres far from the Swiss borders.
How to get to Bormio:
 from Milan: north bypass, exit Cinisello, Lecco motorway till Colico, SS38 road to Sondrio, Tirano, Bormio.
from Brescia: A4 motorway, exit Brescia Ovest, direction Lago d'Iseo, SS42 road to Breno, Edolo, SS39 road to Aprica, Tirano, SS38 to Bormio.
from Zernez: La Drossa - Tunnel "Munt la Schera" Drossa- P.te del Gallo, Livigno, SS301 road to Bormio.
Toll - tunnel open all year long (just check opening time).
